The soft lighting casts a gentle glow, making it an ideal spot for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings with friends and family. The sounds of laughter and clinking glasses fill the air, but do keep in mind that some guests have noted the background music can be a touch on the louder side, creating a vibrant dining environment.

The menu at Le Cilaos is a delight for food enthusiasts. A particular highlight is the excellent 27-euro lunch menu, which features a thoughtful selection of beautifully presented dishes. Although a few patrons have noted that the food could benefit from being served a touch warmer, it does not overshadow the experience of savoring each meticulously crafted course. For those seeking something unique, the chef is more than willing to cater to dietary preferences, offering outstanding vegan options that have garnered rave reviews from guests like Harry Roelofs, who described them as some of the best vegan dishes he has encountered.

Wine lovers will appreciate Le Cilaos’ curated selection, available by the glass or bottle, although this may add a bit to your overall bill. The restaurant beckons connoisseurs to indulge in a lovely glass of wine that complements their meals, enhancing their dining experience. Many diners express profound appreciation for the efficient and friendly service, which adds to the welcoming ambiance that Le Cilaos strives to create. John Kling, for instance, captures the sentiment perfectly, sharing how he left utterly captivated by both the food and the stunning setting.

With all these praised elements, it’s no surprise that reservations are highly recommended to ensure you secure your spot at this popular establishment. Whether you’re looking for a fragrant herb-crusted dish or a silky dessert, dining at Le Cilaos is sure to be a memorable affair that tantalizes your taste buds and leaves you eager to return.

Excellent friendly service. We had the 27 euro lunch menu. Food was good but not warm enough on both courses. Music was too loud. Wine only available by glass or bottle made it expensive.

We had an excellent evening at this wonderful restaurant. On request, the chef made a vegan starter dish and main course, which were both one of the best vegan dinners I've tasted! The staff was very friendly.

I had lunch here the other day. Amazing! Beautiful setting, delicious food, and great service. Who could want for anything more? Oh yes, the wine was lovely. Make reservations in order not to be disappointed. Highly recommended.

We ate lunchtime, food nice and different, had 3 course menu. One small critique, we found the food somewhat cooler than we like, but this is a personal thing.seemed popular, and staff very good. Would visit again, closed Mon/Tues.

Beautiful location. We sat outside on the terrace. We tried their cocktails, don't bother if you go. We chose the fixed menu priced at €35. Starter of duck samosas very good. Veal fillets for main course, some pieces were tough but nicely presented. Dessert, a sort of almond base with lemon meringue again very good. Young staff pleasant. It was Thursday evening and very quiet, another six covers so little atmosphere.

This restaurant is within walking distance of LePlein Air. Absolutely delicious food. Midday menu suited us both with 2 choices. Service good, not rushed, but not slow, just about right. Highly recommended. Lynne & Steve
